For the past 18 years, the COMMON Education Foundation (CEF) has been fostering the development and growth of future IT professionals. To do so, we’ve been providing students and educators with sponsorships to COMMON conferences. It’s here that they have access to Power Systems education they can’t find in a classroom along with the industry professional connections that can engage them in the community.
Once again, we will be sponsoring a Student Initiative for COMMON’s Fall Conference & Expo in St. Louis from October 2-4, 2017. We currently have educators and students from numerous schools nationwide expressing interest. The CEF would like to sponsor at least 35 students and 6 instructors to attend. It will cost approximately $750 per student to pay for their registration, hotel (2 per room), and travel expenses. Please consider sponsoring a student or students for the Fall Conference. As Cognitive Systems businesses, members and User Groups, your donation is a great way to promote your business to attendees and let them know you value education and the next generation of IT professionals.
With post-conference feedback always being overwhelmingly positive, the consensus is…this is a great opportunity for students and instructors to enhance their knowledge and broaden their network. Help drive our future IT professionals to the Power Systems platform and our robust community.
